A study claims that crying between the hours of 7 and 10 pm at night can help you lose weight. The “author” of the study, optometrist Dr. Aaron Neufeld, weighs in on this claim issuing a warning not to believe everything you read. Dr. Neufeld shares he wrote an article about three types of tears, and how emotional tears contain stress hormones in them. He shares that he is attributed to this crazy claim about weight loss and crying at night, but that he didn’t actually study this. Dr. Neufeld does, however, share some of the great benefits of crying.
