Jeanette has come to The Doctors looking for help with her 7-year-old’s weight. Pediatric dietician Dr. Beth Saltz shares she does not want to put a 7-year-old child on a diet, but rather she wants to give Jeanette the tools to do a family food makeover. For example, Dr. Saltz shares that one juice box has three teaspoons of sugar in it and kids are supposed to maybe have 4 teaspoons of sugar a day, so Faith who is having 6 juice boxes in one day is ingesting a week’s worth of sugar.
