Could a new concept called “exercise snacks” take the guilt out of missing a gym session? A new study in Applied Physiology of Nutrition and Metabolism suggests that even 20 seconds of exercise, like a brisk walk, or a walk up the stairs several times a day might be enough to increase your aerobic fitness. Even parking a little further away and walking quickly to where you have to go can count as your exercise snack.
