The old saying, “Happy wife, happy life,” turns out to be pretty true. A new study looked at 13,000 couples who were evaluated at 9 months after the birth of their child and again when their child turned 14. Researchers found that a mother’s happiness is twice as important as a father’s when it comes to whether or not a couple will stay together.
