A new study published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health found that raising the minimum wage by just one dollar could lower the national suicide rate. ER physician Dr. Travis Stork agrees that income inequality has gotten a little out of control and an extra dollar per hour seems well worth the cost of potentially saving lives.
