Dermatologist Dr. Sonia Batra it's unlikely pets are carriers of COVID-19, but we are still learning about this new virus. There have only been two infected dogs, and one infected cat in the U.S. to date. Since we don’t know, Dr. Batra shares to just be mindful like you are of your groceries by wiping off their paws and washing your hands afterward. She also suggests not letting your dog lick your face.
