Vitamix Smoothie Recipes

Get your daily recommended servings of fruits and vegetables by blending them into a smoothie! Try these two recipes provided by the makers of Vitamix blenders.

Going Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) ice cubes
  • 1/3 cup (55 g) pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 ripe banana, peeled, halved
  • 1 cup (30 g) fresh spinach, packed
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) green grapes
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix 20-ounce container in the order listed and secure blade.
  2. Turn the dial to 1 and slowly increase speed to 10.
  3. Blend for 25 to 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.

Red Cherry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (60 g) low-fat cherry yogurt
  • 1 cup (76 g) fresh strawberries, quartered
  • 2/3 cup (50 g) red grapes
  • 1 cup (70 g) fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 cup (60 ml) cherry juice

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix 40-ounce container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Turn the dial to 1 and slowly increase speed to 10.
  3. Blend for 35 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
