Poisson Cru 



  • raw tuna (white or red)
  • lettuce
  • cucumber
  • tomatoes
  • lime juice
  • salt and pepper
  • coconut milk 
  • olive oil
  • optional ingredients: onion and garlic


  1. Cut the raw fish into cubes and let it soak in salted water for 10 minutes.
  2. While the fish is soaking, finely chop the salad, cucumber, and tomatoes into fine strips or cubes. 
  3. Strain the water for the fish and add a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper (add the optional garlic if you’d like) and mix well.
  4. Pour the lime juice, mix, and pour the coconut milk. Mix again.
  5. Add vegetables and mix everything together. 
  6. Serve alone or with rice.

Desert Bananas 



  • bananas
  • shredded coconut


  1. Cut the bananas into bite size pieces and coat them with the shredded coconut. It's done!

Fei (Cooked Banana) With Coconut Milk 



  • fei or ripe bananas
  • coconut milk
  • *If you cannot found fei, try this recipe with ripe bananas.


  1. Place fei or bananas on a cooking sheet and bake in the oven at about 400 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. 
  2. Tip: They are cooked when they are soft on the inside. Use a fork or a knife to check the softness.
  3. Peel and pour the coconut milk over them. 
  4. Serve Warm
