Secret Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4-5 ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup soft dates
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup

Instructions

  1. First slice the bananas and freeze, once they are frozen combine the bananas with the dates and almond milk in a food processor or high speed blender and mix until you have a smooth, thick creamy texture.
  2. Add the salt and mix again until well combined.
  3. Scoop the ice cream out of the bowl and swirl in the maple syrup.
  4. Serve alone or with berries, and enjoy!

 

 

Chocolate Chip Kooky

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 and ½ Tbsp. coconut oil, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 cup carob/cacao or dark mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine and mix the almond flour, baking soda, flax seed, and sea salt in a medium bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine and mix the honey, coconut oil, vanilla and egg.
  4. Next add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until a smooth batter is formed.
  5. Add in the chocolate chips and stir.
  6. Scoop about a tablespoon of the batter onto the baking sheet until all the cookies are laid out.

 

 

Sinless Cinnamon Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 Apples
  • 2 tsp. organic ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Slice the apples very thin, and discard all seeds. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the apples in a single layer. Sprinkle half the cinnamon on top of the apples.
  3. Bake for 1 hour then flip over the apples and sprinkle that side with the remainder of the cinnamon.
  4. Bake for another hour or until the apple slices are no longer moist. Turn off the oven and let them cool completely inside, this is when they will crisp up.
  5. Store in an airtight container.
