Purple Power Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cold-pressed apple juice
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup red Anjou pear, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/2 cup low-fat strawberry or plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed curly kale, stems removed
  • 2 tablespoons unfiltered organic flaxseed oil
  • Juice of half of a large lemon

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

 

 

 

 

Strawberry Opener Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup 2% reduced fat milk
  • 1 medium banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons nonfat strawberry yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

 

 

 

 

Peanut Butter & Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup vitamin D-fortified whole milk
  • 1 ripe medium banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted organic peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon organic vanilla protein powder
  • 10 small ice cubes

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

 

 

 

 

Chocolate Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 ripe small banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup tightly packed curly kale stems removed
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat blueberry yogurt
  • 1/4 cup cooked low-sodium white beans
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened ground baking cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon raw organic honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
