The Broot hair spa owner Samira Asemanfar shows you how to create personalized hair masks in your own kitchen. The key is finding the right oil for your hair type.

For any hair type:

1/2 avocado
1 egg
1-2 ounces olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
2-3 ounces of almond milk

For dry hair:

1/2 avocado
2 ounces mayonaise
1-2 ounces coconut oil
2 tablespoons honey
2-3 ounces almond milk

For damaged or color-treated hair:

1/2 avocado
1/2 banana
1-2 ounces jojoba oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 ounces mayonaise
2-3 ounces almond milk

Directions:
Mix ingredients in blender until smooth. Apply to hair. Leave in for 15 to 30 minutes. Sit in the sun, if possible, to help the treatment penetrate your hair. Rinse and shampoo. Repeat once every week or two.
