Cauliflower Chocolate Smoothie
You can use frozen cauliflower in any smoothies to replace frozen banana, which cuts down sugar intake from the smoothie. I prefer it half and half - half frozen cauliflower and half frozen banana, so it’s still got some sweetness. Surprisingly, you cannot taste the cauliflower.
- 1 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk (or TigerNut milk for nut free)
- 1-3 seedless dates
- Smidgen of sea salt
- Dash of vanilla extract
- Add a tablespoon of almond butter or Sunbutter (for a nut free alternative) for a protein boost.
- Put all ingredients in a blender and mix together until a smooth consistency is achieved.
