Try this breakfast smoothie recipe from phase 1 of Dr. Phil's latest book, The 20/20 Diet .


  • Single serving container of nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt, made with real sugar and not artificial sweetener
  • Small apple of choice, chopped with skin on
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened whey protein powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Ice


  1. Combine yogurt, apple, protein powder and water in a blender.
  2. Whip until smooth.
  3. Add peanut butter, cinnamon and a handful of ice.
  4. Whip to desired consistency.
