Chef Leslie Durso shares a simple and delicious recipe for a quick and filling breakfast.
- 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large organic apple, cored and chopped
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Mix the milk, chia seeds and vanilla together in a small bowl.
- Let rest for 15 minutes.
- Fold in the rest of the ingredients and enjoy or let sit overnight.
