The Doctors discuss a viral video where a woman's lip is seen oozing and leaking a liquid, which reportedly occurred following a lip injection procedure.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon calls the footage "disturbing" noting in his many years of practicing that he has never seen this happen. Dr, Ordon says he believes this could have occurred because the injection was "too superficial" and possibly caused the filler to collect near the surface of the skin.
The plastic surgeon goes on to note the vast majority of lip injections are successful if done by a certified and trained plastic surgeon. He also says in some cases there can be incidents of an allergic reaction or an infection from the procedure.
