The Doctors meet Maria, who had a melanoma removed above her eye. She was left with scarring and half of a missing eyebrow.
She comes to us seeking advice for the best way to deal with her post-procedure issues of scarring and the lack of an eyebrow. She explains due to how the melanoma was removed, her eyebrow will not grow back.
Dermatologist Dr. Sonia Batra explains one possible option to treat her scarring is with laser treatments, as this could blend the texture of the skin and hopefully smooth it. She also says that Maria 's grafted skin will not likely respond to a hair transplant.
Dr. Batra says that microblading could be one possible way to create the appearance of an eyebrow. To help Maria, we surprise her with plastic surgeon Dr. Behrooz Torkian, who offers her a laser treatment to help with her scar and Val's Beauty has offered her microblading, all at no cost to her.
