The Doctors welcome back Aracely, who we met last season after she was prescribed a medication used to treat seizures and migraines in order to lose weight but encountered a slew of problems with the med. She joins us to share how she dropped an impressive 108 pounds without going to such extreme measures.
In addition, to have bariatric surgery, she shares she is eating a plant-based and vegan diet, which has helped her lose the weight. She is also trying to stay active and also recently adopted a puppy.
"I'm still learning to listen to my body. I just know that I have a long way to go. I want to thank you. The Doctors gave me the tools that helped me get to where I needed to be in order to save my life," Aracely says.
She is happy to share that she now no longer needs to take medication for diabetes and high blood pressure.
The Doctors want Aracely to continue on her successful health journey and nutrition specialist Cynthia Fernberg with Well with Nutrition is offering her a 10-week nutrition program. Plus, Nautilus is providing her with a Bowflex Max to help her exercise at home.
