The following material contains graphic images of an actual surgery that may be disturbing. Parents are advised that these images may not be suitable for young children.
When The Doctors first met Kim over a year ago, a colon surgery and numerous subsequent surgeries left her with a cone-shaped stomach that she desperately wanted to fix.
Kim's problems arose after numerous bouts of diverticulitis (the inflammation or infection in one or more small pouches in the digestive tract), the removal of a portion of her colon, a hernia surgery, and multiple infections. At the time she told us she felt scarred, distorted and “ruined." “I don’t even want to look in a mirror. I’m 52 and I have to dress like I’m 80,” she said. “I want to get back to feeling like a woman.”

To help Kim, we called on dermatological surgeon Dr. Jason Emer and plastic surgeon Dr. Sheila Nazarian. Kim undergoes liposuction on her upper and lower back, a tummy tuck and a small butt lift. Dr. Emer and Dr. Nazarian removed 3 liters of fat and four pounds of skin.
Following her amazing surgery, a transformed Kim joins the panel. "I feel amazing. I went from a size 14 to a size 6," she says. "These doctors are amazing. They have given me my life back."

Dr. Nazarian reveals that Kim had 3 more surgery after her tummy tuck and liposuction due infections and her wound opening up. Despite the additional setbacks, Dr. Nazarians says Kim "came through with flying colors."
To help Kim even further, The Doctors surprise Kim with a gift from Land's End that will help her look her best.
