Ashley is happy to share that she's "feeling great" after reducing her sugar intake. She says the detox has helped her create healthy eating habits and instead of eating fast food, she is now prepping meals ahead of time. She also says her energy levels have increased, she's now going to the gym and says her clothes fit better.
Devin also found success giving up sugar and says he is now making better food choices. He is skipping tempting fast food meals and convenience store snacks, going to the gym 5 times a week and is playing more basketball. He also credits his boost in energy levels to the sugar detox.
Nutritionist Juli Keene, who helped Ashley and Devin during their detox, explains the only dietary restriction Ashley and Devin had was their sugar intake and there was not a caloric restriction imposed. She says they both ate more protein, vegetables and complex carbohydrates.
