The Doctors asked our viewers to cut sugar from their lives in the #DropTheSugar challenge and we bring you inspirational success stories of people you left sugar behind and discovered new health benefits.

Producer Justin, who was able to dramatically reduce his sugar intake and lost a significant amount of weight, is joined by viewer Dena. She gave up sugar and lost 10 pounds in just 21 days.

"I'm feeling better. I'm in a better mood, no mood swings," Dena tells us, adding the change in her sugar intake has also inspired her to begin exercising. She says it has also helped her family eat better, and they have been able to cut out a lot more processed foods, and are now enjoying healthy foods.

Susie, also found success with the challenge, telling us she also lost 10 pounds in just 2 weeks. She says her tendonitis in her wrist has also been helped, along with her psoriasis clearing up. "I can't believe the results I've seen in just weeks time," she shares.

  2. Eliminate as much ADDED SUGAR as possible from your diet!
  3. Drink lots of water!
  4. Don’t skip meals – avoid processed foods & have a balanced plate!
  5. Add healthy protein, fiber & fats to your day!
  6. Don’t eliminate carbs! Eat complex carbs!
  7. Have healthy snacks ready to get you between meals!
  8. Get enough sleep!
  9. Move your body at least 3X a week!
  10. Make fruit your new dessert!
