The Doctors test out the truSculpt Flex treatment, which claims to strengthen and tone muscles without surgery or downtime in just 8 weeks.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Arash Moradzadeh explains the treatment uses multi-directional simulation (MDS), where electrical muscle stimulation is used to target specific muscle groups. He says treatments can be tailored for each patient's needs and level of comfort. He also says patients may see a boosted metabolism from the treatment.
We put it to the test with Jeni (who says her problem areas are her thighs and butt), Joseph (who wants better abs), and Jana (who says her problem area is her thighs). All 3 patients had 4 treatments during the 8-week test.
Jeni says the treatment was "amazing" and says she lost around 12 pounds in the first 5 weeks. She says she also exercised 3 to 4 times a week and ate healthily.
Joseph increased his time at the gym and cut bread from his diet, but says the results were not what he expected and tells The Doctors he hoped for more definition.
Jana shares she felt more strength in her thighs after the treatment but did not see as much toning or definition.
