The Doctors have three easy tips to instantly feel happier!
Tip #1: Sit up straight.
Studies show that sitting up straight makes you feel happier, have more energy and greater confidence. ER physician Dr. Travis Stork advises viewers to engage their cores and check their posture at least once an hour. He shares that a study found those with depression felt more alert and happy when they improved their posture.

Tip #2: Eat a handful of nuts.
Nuts are high in tryptophan, an amino acid which aids in serotonin production. Seratonin raises your mood and can lower those feelings of hunger and improve your heart health.
Tip #3: Use the 4-7-8 breathing technique.
Taking a moment to focus on your breathing will help to regulate the fight-or-flight response and bring your mind and body back to a healthy balance. Inhale for four seconds, hold that breath for seven seconds, and then slowly exhale for eight seconds.
