Playing Teen Uses His Passion for Karate to Give Back to Seniors

The Doctors are happy to welcome 15-year-old karate black belt Jeffrey who is helping build strength and confidence in seniors through martial arts.

Jeffrey, who has been training in martial arts since he was just 6 years old, travels to nursing homes and holds karate classes with seniors.

And the pandemic has not stopped the 15-year-old from continuing to help these seniors. He explains his classes are held outdoors, are socially distanced, and everyone wears a mask while training.

He says the karate classes are also helping to improve his students' health. One participant was previously taking 4 medications for her diabetes, but since she began exercising more and taking his karate class, 3 of her pills have been eliminated.

"Just seeing that makes my heart melt," the teen black belt tells The Doctors.

Plus, Jeffrey shares some moves that Doctors' viewers can do at any age!
