We are joined by plastic surgeon Dr. Kevin Kalwerisky and his patient Ciara. Dr. Kalwerisky explains the procedure involves injecting hyaluronic acid into the nasal structures to make the nose appear more delicate, straighter, and more refined. He also explains the injections can make a large nose look smaller. The treatment can also be used to help correct small imperfections in the nose following a traditional rhinoplasty.
Ciara tells us she is looking to add more definition, correct the drooping that occurs when she smiles, and also add more of a refined appearance to her nose.
The procedure only takes 15 to 20 minutes to perform and the results can be seen immediately. The liquid nose job will last for around a year (and requires a touchup after a few months) and costs approximately $2000, which is far less than traditional rhinoplasty.
