When we first met the single mom, she shared she was the victim of a sexual assault while serving in the military and it had caused her crippling PSTD. She was also dealing with chronic lower back and hip pain. We enlisted the help of orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brad Thomas, to help with her pain, and pain management specialist and anesthesiologist Dr. Eugene Lipov, to treat her PSTD.
"I got my life back, I got my self back," she tells Dr. Ian Smith. She also updates us on her back and hip pain, saying she is "doing great" and she reveals she is now working out.
"I'm doing the things I've always loved to do. I feel great," the veteran adds.
