The following program contains mature subject matter not suitable for young viewers and images of an actual surgical procedure that may be graphic and disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.
Tatiane is a make-up artist who helps others feel beautiful but she herself was self-conscious about her own looks. She says she was constantly bothered by her neck and the little pouch under her chin. Tatiane opted for a minimally invasive facial procedure and The Doctors were in the room to see it!
Plastic surgeon Dr. Barry DiBernardo performed the procedure using EmbraceRF, a radiofrequency to melt the fat, and the Morpheus 8 to remove the wrinkles and crease lines on her neck. The EmbraceRF is a probe that essentially irons the skin tight. The Morpheus 8 goes into the wrinkling and lines to tighten it.
Both Tatiane and Dr. DiBernardo join The Doctors in the audience and Tatiane’s before and after photos impress everyone there! Tatiane says she was very happy she did the procedure. Her recovery time was only three days and she didn’t need to take any pain medication.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon notes Tatiane was the ideal candidate since she is not too old and didn’t have so much laxity. He says for older patients, it’s likely a traditional face and neck lift will serve them better. Dr. DiBernardo says it depends. He explains that they have been researching these tightening tools for ten years and are getting pretty good at tightening, even with older patients. The age range for the procedure is 30 – 60 years old and the cost can range anywhere from $4,000 – $12,000.
