Mariel and Bobby are big proponents of exercise and healthy eating and say these lifestyle choices led to both personal power and peace. They explain that air, sun, water, earth, nutrition, exercise, and rest are the "the 7 doctors of nature," noting they are available to everyone 24/7 and are free.
The couple tells The Doctors they practice deep nasal breathing (which involves focusing your breathing through the nose and less through the mouth), which they say can possibly help with snoring and improve performance while exercising.
When it comes to exercise, they try to think of fitness as play and not as work or a chore. They enjoy barefoot walking in nature, gymnast rings, and jumping on a trampoline. They also encourage everyone to be aware of how long you sit during the day and suggest getting up every 19 minutes and do something active.
As for food, their advice is simple, "Just eat real food," Bobby suggests, saying he and Mariel stay away from processed foods and items containing hormones and antibiotics. Another tip from the healthy couple -- utilize your local farmer's market to get healthy and whole foods. They point out your local farmer's market is probably closer to your home than you realize!
