The Doctors love sharing our favorite hacks to make life easier -- and we have 2 kitchen tricks you probably did not know about!

If you are a coffee drinker and enjoy it with creamer, did you know the cap on the creamer container comes with a tool that can help you avoid the pesky hard--to-open foil safety seals?

Using the bottom of the cap, press down on the foil and the cap will puncture the seal helping you avoid having to peel it back. The Doctors remind you to always check the calories and sugar content on your creamer and to enjoy it in moderation. If you are looking for morning coffee alternatives, get the recipes for our Sweet Potato Breakfast Smoothie, Citrus-Coconut Energy Shake, and a  Blackberry, Lavender, and Kale Smoothie.

Are you looking to control your pasta portions?

The plastic utensil used to stir and remove the pasta from the water probably has a hole in the center of it. The hole is there to help you measure a single-sized portion of pasta. Just fill the pasta in the open hole, and you can easily avoid over-indulging. Remember, pasta is a great way to add more vegetables to your meals. We love including zucchini, bell peppers, spinach, and kale to ours, and check out these healthy recipes for Raw Zucchini Pesto PastaProtein Pasta, and a Guilt-Free Pasta Sauce.
