Rihanna reportedly revealed that she only sleeps 3 to 4 hours a night and The Doctors weigh in on the pop star's lack of shut-eye.

They note that the recommended amount of sleep for anyone from age 18 to 60 years of age is at least 7 hours of sleep per night.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon says of the Grammy winner's lack of zzz's, "If she is doing well, and she feels rested and has plenty of energy and has no issues with [things like] mood, then I think it is fine. We're all a little bit different concerning how much sleep we need... I know people like this that can get by with less and do perfectly well."

Dermatologist Dr. Sonia Batra notes that some people engage in polyphasic sleep, where you only sleep for a few hours each night, followed by power naps during the day. She says that while this might seem tough for many, that some people find they do well with this type of rest schedule.
