Like so many of us, Brooke says shares with The Doctors that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused her to feel stuck and as if her life is out of control. We welcome life coach Mike Bayer to help her find a way to take back control and manage her anxiety.
Prior to the pandemic, the former chief of staff to First Lady Barbara Bush and the owner of a successful events business moved to New York City to grow her business, but the virus stopped her career and social life in its tracks.
She says she is now left feeling "frozen" is asking herself, "What do I do? Where do I go from here?"
The host of the Always Evolving podcast tells Brooke he feels she's currently not doing what is in her best interest and he stresses, "We have to turn excuses into solutions."
He suggests to her -- and others who feel stuck -- to identify what they need to do to get by during this time and to either "reinvent, evolve or pivot." The life coach says for most people, the hardships of the pandemic can be solved by evolving or pivoting. He also urges anyone who is feeling stuck to find someone who can hold you accountable.
Coach Mike agrees to personally work with Brooke and The Doctors look forward to seeing all the progress she is bound to make in the new year.
