Producer Justin -- who spearheaded The Doctors #DropTheSugar challenge -- went to 3 different dollar stores with only $15 dollars to spend and he shares how he was able to make healthy food choices while staying on a strict budget.

Some of the healthy items -- that when combined can make for a nutritious and filling meal -- included:
- Eggs
- Tomatoes
- Avocados
- Kale
- Spinach
- Soybean sprouts
- Potatoes
- Mixed veggies
- Hummus
- Frozen berries
He says with all the items he bought he was able to prepare 13 meals, plus desserts, snacks, and had leftovers. His budget shopping trip produced:
- 6 vegetable omelets with a side of breakfast potatoes
- 4 large super salads
- 3 loaded baked potatoes
- 3 bowls of berries
- 6 hardboiled eggs and hummus
- 8 leftover potatoes
