Chef Jernard shares he has lost 63 pounds (and counting) after he began modifying some of his favorite recipes. The secret to his weight loss was eliminating one of his guilty pleasures -- fried foods.
But instead of not eating his favorite foods, the chef reimagined how meals are prepared and now he bakes dishes instead of frying. The "Southern Modified" co-author says he is able to get the same flavor and same experience, but now with less fat.
