The Doctors are looking back at Derek Hough's appearance on the show where be explained why he feels dance is important in order to stay healthy and how he hopes to inspire others to move more.
“We always talk on the show about dance being good for your health, and clearly you’re in good shape,” ER Physician Dr. Travis Stork tells the six-time winner of "Dancing with the Stars" champ.
Last year Derek and sister Julianne Hough embarked on their live dance tour, "Move Beyond," which he said he hoped would get others excited about getting out there and shaking things up -- literally, which he feels is connected to our health.
“Motion equals emotion,” he told Dr. Travis. “Motion directly affects the way you feel.”
