The Doctors look back at two couples who worked together to combat their excess weight and were able to drop their extra pounds together.
Paris and Nick were both in the process of making lifestyle changes when a mutual friend set them up thinking they might have a lot in common. After hitting it off, they have continued their weight loss journeys as a couple. Nick dropped 160 pounds and Paris lost 60 pounds.
Paris shared her tip for weight loss success, saying, "I think the biggest thing is having a routine, a weekly routine, so even if you fall off you can get right back on. And staying motivated, whether it's through social media or having a network of friends, that is definitely key."
For Drew and Pam, injury and an infection led to Drew discovering he had diabetes. They enlisted the help of weight-loss expert Dr. Kellyann Petrucci, who gave them a cupboard cleanse, tossing anything high in sodium and sugar and challenged them to eat more natural and fresh foods. The couple embraced the changes and began growing and eating fresh vegetables and drastically changed their eating habits.
Drew has lost a whopping 212 pounds, and Pam lost 40 pounds, explaining that she now sleeps better and says feels more energetic.
