Meet Woman Who Shares She Developed Tics during the Pandemic
We meet Ayana and Siree Morris, co-founders of the drive-in Newark Moonlight Cinema, who saw the need for a providing safe entertainment option in their community during the pandemic, as most indoor movie theaters are still closed.
The couple tells Dr. Ian Smith they have received rave reviews from patrons and they say people love going to the movies in a safe and socially distanced way. All ticket sales are done online, and movie patrons can even order food via an app and pick it up safely.
The screenings take place in a former minor league baseball stadium, which they transformed into their drive-in, and it includes a 30-foot movie screen, and the movie's sound is heard via your car's audio system and also from speakers in the stadium.
