Competitive hobbyhorse riding involves riders participating in equestrian jumping while riding plush horses on a stick, and while this might seem odd, it is very popular in Europe among teens. In fact, in Finland, there are upwards of 10,000 competitive hobbyhorse riders who gallop, trot and jump their wooden stick horses.
The panel notes this activity promotes exercise and also a sense of community -- not to mention a healthy use of one's imagination.
