Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish revealed she has used the cream on her hairline in order to regrown hair. Dermatologist Dr. Sonia Batra explains there is some evidence this might help. She says there can be a certain type of yeast on the hair and that an overgrowth of it can lead to inflammation and possible hair loss. Dr. Batra goes on to explain that ingredient commonly found in yeast infection cream will lower someone's yeast count and may actually help hair regrow.
She cautions there is still more to be learned about these ingredients when it comes to regrowing hair.
