The Doctors discuss the results of a study that found people who had most of their daily sugar during the night had more sleep issues, which can lead to feeling tired chronically and waking up feeling grumpy.
Producer Justin, who embarked on The Doctors #DropTheSugar challenge, says in the few months he cut processed sugar from his daily food that it helped him sleep better than ever. Also, since changing his diet, the few times he has had sugar before bed, he has found that he has slept worse, woke up more during the night, and started the day in a bad mood.
Instead of something sweet and processed before bed, he indulges with a natural treat at night and says his favorite dessert is now frozen grapes.
