Are you or is your man bald up top but hairy down below? The Doctors discuss why some men go bald on their head, but still have hair elsewhere.
The Doctors explain that male testosterone breaks down into the hormone byproduct Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which can stifle hair growth in certain areas of the body, one of them being the top of the head.
They go on to explain that DHT does not have the same effect on the rest of the body.
The Doctors suggest speaking with your healthcare provider if you are experiencing significant or unexplained hair loss.
