"Modern Family" star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons joins The Doctors to talk about the work she's doing as an ambassador for the Starlight Children’s Foundation
In an effort to help make those hospital gowns more comfortable and exciting, the Starlight Children’s Foundation is having a contest to design fun gowns.
Watch: Kids and Hospital Fears
Pediatrician Dr. Cara Natterson, who is also the Starlight Children’s Foundation chairperson, says that these gowns can help lift the spirit of kids in the hospital as well as being more comfortable to wear and provide better coverage. The foundation has already sent out 150,000 gowns across the country and plans to send out tens of thousands of the custom gowns from the contest.
In addition to Aubrey and many of her "Modern Family" co-stars, Chris Martin from Coldplay and actress/director Elizabeth Banks are also joining the fun and important cause.

The contest is open to anyone under 18 and submissions are due on February 20. Visit the Starlight Children’s Foundation website to submit your gown design, here!
