The Doctors discuss the case of a man in England that might have you thinking twice about using a sex toy!
A man was using a pleasure-enhancing ring on his penis and it became stuck. He went to the hospital, but after nearly 6 hours the staff was unable to remove the ring and were forced to call the fire and rescue team for additional help.
The Doctors explain that these types of rings can restrict and trap the blood and then it is unable to flow back. They go on to say that once the blood is trapped, the window to successfully cut off a ring without injury the penis is small.
Dermatologist Dr. Sonia Batra explains that in the past decade the number of visits to the emergency room for sex toy injuries has doubled.
