Reality star Josh Flagg, from Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles," is best known for closing high-end real estate deals on his hit reality series. He has come to The Doctors to open up about his painful health challenge.
Josh reveals he has been suffering from back problems for the last 10 years. He says it began one morning when he woke up and he was unable to get out of bed, the initial pain was treated with an epidural. For the last 5 years, he has experienced numbness and a tingling sensation in his foot but says it did not interfere with his life that much. When he began to limp, he decided to get the problem checked out.

Doctors discovered that he was suffering from a herniated disk and he underwent surgery.
Just a few weeks after the procedure, Josh and orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Terrence Kim join The Doctors to discuss the surgery and his recovery.

Dr. Kim explains that prevention is key when it comes to back and spine problems. He says that a family history of back problems can be an indicator that you are also possibly at risk for issues with your back. He says that preventive steps like core strengthening and early physical therapy can help to reduce the risk of back problems.
