Clinical psychologist Dr. Judy Ho says each couple's frequency of sex differs and according to research about 20 percent of couples in their 20s tend to have sex twice a week. She says that the rates decrease with each decade in age.

  • Spend quality time together, which often leads to intimacy 
  • Make time to physically connect without the pressure of having sex 
  • If an extended period of time without sex goes by, she recommends seeking guidance from a therapist or professional
