The Doctors are joined by California Assembly Member Cristina Garcia to discuss a disturbing sex trend that could be detrimental to your health. The panel discusses stealthing, which is the act of a man removing the condom during intercourse without consent.

Assembly Member Garcia, who has introduced a bill that would make this act a crime, shares that this issue hits close to home for her.

"This is something that happened to me when I started dating and continues to happen to me now as an adult. It's frustrating to continue to live with that and it's frustrating that men think they can get away with this [and] think they have a right to this," she explains, saying that people in this situation might have consented to sex but did not consent to possible STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

"The thought that a man would do this is sickening to me," ER physician Dr. Travis Stork says.

Assembly Member Garcia's goal is to have this act classified as rape. Attorney Areva Martin explains that having a law on the books regarding stealthing could serve as a deterrent to men thinking about committing the act.
