Want to lose that little extra around the tummy without liposuction? A treatment called SculpSure claims to melt that fat away without diet , surgery, or exercise – and The Doctors put it to the test!
Sarina, Amira, and Gabby all agreed to try out the SculpSure procedure. Plastic Surgeon Dr. Christina Petti explains that SculpSure uses a frame to hold treatment applicators in place for 25 minutes. “It started out cold, and now I’m feeling alternate waves of warmth and cold,” comments Sarina.
Now Amira and Dr. Petti join The Doctors to discuss results! Dr Petti claims, “The laser actually destroys the fat. It’s permanently removed. And then your body naturally removes it over time.” It takes 6 to 12 weeks to see the results.
Amira adds, “It’s been great.” Working out never got rid of the softness over her abdominal muscles. She says she had two treatments in total, and it took about 10 weeks before she saw the results.
The cost of the treatment is $1,000-$2,000, depending on how much the patient wants to remove and on the clinic’s location.
There are many options for fat removal, including injections and liposuction – Plastic Surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon explains that some patients prefer not to have surgery or want to avoid anesthesia. SculpSure might be the option they’re looking for.
