The Doctors look into a shocking case of a fertility doctor accused of using his own sperm to impregnate women.
The doctor reportedly pleaded not guilty to obstruction of justice after recently being accused of fathering eight children during the ‘70s and ‘80s. He was reportedly accused to using his own sperm up to 50 times with various patients.
Suspicions arose after an individual found eight DNA matches while taking a genetic test through the popular heredity company 23andMe. The Doctors explain that during this time period live, non-frozen sperm, was used, which raised questions about how the genetically matched children would be linked given their eight year age difference, as his donors were said to only participate in the donation process for a total of three pregnancies.
The doctor in question, who is now retired, is due back in court this month. The siblings accusing him of being their father are considering a civil suit against him.
