Onions: Onions increase libido and strengthen the reproductive organs. White onions are recommended over the red and yellow varieties for enhancing sex drive.
Garlic: Garlic is known to significantly improve blood circulation and stimulate the production of nitric oxide synthase, an enzyme associated with the male erection.
Truffle Oil: This seasoning may be used as an aphrodisiac to seduce your sense of smell. But a little goes a long way, so experiment by drizzling a small amount onto your favorite dishes.
Tomatoes: Eating tomatoes is known to aid in sexual performance by calming pre-sex nerves and improving muscle control. Tomatoes also contain nigh concentrations of lycopene, which promotes soft, smooth skin.
Mushrooms: Shitake mushrooms have been shown to reduce cholesterol, prevent infection and ward off cancer.
Cayenne Pepper: This hot pepper is high in vitamin C, which stimulates circulation and gets your heart pumping — similar to the physical responses during sexual activity.
Chili Peppers: Full of capsaicin, chili peppers increase heart rate and blood circulation, also similar to physical sexual responses.

Oysters: Romans documented oysters as aphrodisiacs in the second century A.D. They are known to be high in zinc, which is associated with increasing sexual potency in men. Recently, mussels, clams and oysters have been found to contain D-aspartic acid and NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) compounds that may be effective in releasing sex hormones like testosterone and estrogen.
Basil: Basil is one of the many aphrodisiacs that promote circulation, and its aroma is known to arouse males.
