Ingrid, who will turn 50 next year, is tired of people telling her she looks tired.
“I definitely don’t want to go under the knife, but I would like to look a little more refreshed,” she says.
Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Yan Trokel explains that the Y Eye Lift procedure provides an alternative to having surgery. He injects hyaluronic acid to add volume around the eye and the forehead.
The procedure takes three to 10 minutes per side and does not leave scars, bruising or swelling. The results are expected to last two to three years.
“By adding volume back to certain places on the face, you will lift the face and get a similar result to what you would get making a cut and either tightening things or moving skin,” plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon says.
See how Ingrid looks after the procedure, and find out who is a good candidate.
