Rhiannon was playing tag outside when she was 3 years old, and a large tractor ran over her and pulled her into the mower attachment, tearing muscle and tissue off her left buttock. She was rushed to the emergency room and had surgery.
But 13 years later, Rhiannon is left with a large gash in her side that is affecting her self-confidence.
“I have breakdowns where I just start crying and thinking, I’m just not worth it,” she says.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon examines Rhiannon and tells her that scar tissue is adhering to her bone. He surprises Rhiannon and her family by offering to perform surgery to help improve the look of her buttock.
Rhiannon says she's a big fan of The Doctors: “I always said, ‘One day I’m going to be on the show, and I’m going to get my butt fixed!’”
Web extra: Hear how Rhiannon and her father react after learning of Dr. Ordon's surprise.
Update: Watch as Dr. Ordon and plastic surgeon Dr. Ritu Chopra perform the life-changing reconstructive surgery on Rhiannon, and see how she is doing after the procedure.
