Dangers of High Calcium Levels
Adequate calcium intake is recommended to prevent osteoporosis, but a surplus of calcium could be doing more harm than good.
An alarming new study out of Sweden found that women with high levels of calcium have twice the risk of dying from heart disease. On the other hand, women with a lack of calcium were found to be at risk for the same health problems.
The Doctors explain why too much or too little calcium, like any other vitamin or supplement, can have dangerous side effects.
The majority of adults need 1,000-1,200 mg of daily calcium. Consult your doctor about how much calcium you should be getting each day.
Dangers of High Pesticides
